Since our charter on December 3, 1935 , American Legion Post 39 has been welcoming VETERANS and military personnel from all branches of our Armed Forces. Located in historic downtown Gilbert, Arizona. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community.  Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families.
Groundbreaking for American Legion Post 39, located in historic downtown Gilbert, AZ, took  place on February 8, 1950

                      On Monday Flags will be at half-staff until Noon

            9:00AM  Gilbert Museum Memorial Day Service
            Noon    Free Hamburgers (Donations to Honor Flight) 
            5:30PM  Recover Flags on Gilbert Road
May 30th    7:00PM  Queen of Hearts (Yes Tuesday!!!)
